Cantare Con Vivo
Since 1999, Cantare’s nationally acclaimed music education programs have been an integral partner in OUSD providing music instruction in the classroom as well as after-school programs.
In addition to providing a music education and an appreciation for artistic expression, these programs help students to develop positive social behavioral skills which include self-esteem, discipline, and an appreciation for teamwork.
The music of Cantare's programs reflect the diversity at Laurel, supporting students to develop self-esteem, a sense of belonging, and an appreciation for others. Music is the vehicle used to teach and celebrate the values of inclusion, peace and compassion.
